HVAC Technician
This is a challenging and rewarding role in which you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
As an HVAC technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all equipment is functioning at optimal levels. This will involve carrying out routine checks and maintenance tasks, as well as responding to emergency calls when equipment fails. You will also be required to diagnose and rectify faults with electrical and mechanical systems, using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
Experience has shown that a successful HVAC technician should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. It is also beneficial if you are able to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to clients. Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting are also essential for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in a relevant area, such as electrical or mechanical engineering, and hold any necessary licenses and certifications. In addition to your technical qualifications, it is desirable that you have experience working with similar types of equipment and a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Trade Licence: Must have a current trade licence in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Refrigerant Handling Licence: Must have a current Refrigerant Handling Licence (Artic).
* Restricted Electrical Licence: Must have a current Restricted Electrical Licence.
