About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will help lead our front‐of‐house team across a diverse range of food and beverage experiences at The Lodge Wadjemup.
You will be responsible for overseeing shift operations across Sunsets Bar & Dining, our signature restaurant, Pelican Kiosk, our dedicated Function Centre, and our seasonal Pool Bar, while also supporting a range of exciting events and activations held throughout the year.
This is a hands‐on leadership role where no two days are the same. From breakfast service and sunset dining to social events, corporate events, island celebrations and special activations, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth day‐to‐day operations.
This is a live‐on position, with staff accommodation available at a low weekly rent, offering a unique opportunity to live and work on one of Australia's most iconic islands.
What You'll Bring
* Current WA Approved Manager's Certificate
* Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Floor Manager or Section Manager role
* Experience working in a high‐volume restaurant, hotel, resort or hospitality venue
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team
* Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude
* Safety & Compliance focus is must
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Duty Manager, Floor Manager or Section Manager role
* Proven experience working in a high‐volume hospitality environment
* Strong stock control and inventory management experience
* Experience receiving deliveries and maintaining storage standards
* Proficiency with BEPOZ POS system, end‐of‐day reconciliation and reporting
* Ability to lead shifts and make operational decisions with confidence
* Full working rights within Australia
* Current WA Approved Manager's Certificate (essential)
* Current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one
* National Police Clearance must be obtained before the start date if not currently held
