About this role
Are you an experienced Auditor looking for a short‐term contract in Australia to set yourself up for summer? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Audit team on a 3‐month fixed‐term contract, commencing mid‐July through to mid‐October. This role is ideal for a Working Holiday Visa professional looking to build Australian experience.
Key responsibilities
* Drive independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted companies, proprietary companies, incorporated associations, other not‐for‐profit entities and government bodies' financial reports.
* Create complete and accurate audit work papers.
* Identify and report on client financial risks.
* Expand your analytical skills to examine clients' financial statements and ensure they comply with statutory requirements.
* Investigate difficult technical and application issues to improve client outcomes.
Qualifications & skills
* Experience in a similar Audit & Assurance environment with sound knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
* CA/CPA full qualification or other relevant overseas qualification.
* Exceptional client relationship and communication skills.
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and team members within a fast‐paced environment to meet deadlines.
* Forward‐thinking approach to drive innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, decision‐making, and team member experience.
