Precision Group is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager with proven experience in the print, direct mail, mailing, fulfilment, packaging, labels, or broader marketing production industry. This is an opportunity for a sales professional who understands the power of print-led customer communications and can open commercial conversations across sectors such as financial services, insurance, superannuation, professional services, fundraising, and corporate marketing.
You'll represent a well-established Australian business with end-to-end capability across offset and digital print, variable data printing, direct mail, data management, fulfilment, creative, digital marketing, promotional merchandise, packaging, and labels. Rather than selling a single product, you'll be able to offer clients integrated, campaign-led solutions that connect print, mail, data, and digital channels.
What We're Looking For
We're especially interested in candidates who have sold into, or worked closely with, the print-related sector. This may include commercial print, direct mail, mailing services, print management, marketing production, packaging, labels, fulfilment, promotional products, data-driven communications, or agency-side production.
You'll bring the ability to identify new business opportunities, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and translate client marketing or communication needs into practical production-led solutions, including:
* Driving new business in financial services using a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach;
* Building and managing a healthy pipeline via LinkedIn, referrals, and outbound activity;
* Engaging senior-level stakeholders and converting complex client needs into campaign strategies;
* Building strategic, relationship-based partnerships;
* Collaborating with internal teams to execute client briefs and deliver measurable results;
* Navigating compliance, governance, and data security requirements with confidence.
What You Bring
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in direct mail, digital, and 3PL solutions;
* A solutions-oriented mindset and a driven commitment to team success;
* Proven success in new business development, not just account management;
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to challenge client thinking and influence outcomes;
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven;
* Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator;
* A team player who thrives in a values-led, fast-moving, and collaborative environment.
