We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our organization in Melbourne, Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable transactions, reconciling vendor accounts, and running Accounts Payable reports to support financial reporting.
Ongoing improvement of the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine used in capturing and processing invoice data is a key aspect of this role.
Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues promptly is crucial.
Demonstrable experience in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential, as well as a degree or qualification in accounting.
The ideal candidate will have confidence and ability to work with various stakeholders across multiple departments.
