Role
Lecturer in Construction Management to support a rapidly growing programme area at Kingston University.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality teaching in construction management subject areas.
* Contribute to module design, development and continuous improvement.
* Undertake assessment and provide timely, constructive academic feedback.
* Support academic advising and student learning where required.
* Contribute to the maintenance of academic standards and quality assurance processes.
* Support curriculum enhancement in line with accreditation and institutional requirements.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and high‐quality academic delivery.
* Deliver high‐quality teaching and advance research in areas such as project brief development, development appraisals, project finance, design appraisal, cost estimating, budgeting, cost management, contract practice, project control and risk management.
* Contribute to both teaching and research excellence, foster industry partnerships and mentor students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Apply knowledge of AI, machine learning and digital tools in construction management.
* Assist in the delivery of taught modules and ongoing development of curriculum content.
* Play a central role in supporting student learning and maintaining academic quality across the programme.
Qualifications
* PhD in a relevant field (essential).
* Established record of peer‐reviewed journal publications in a relevant subject area.
* Working towards, or willing to engage with, professional recognition and membership of relevant professional bodies.
* Awarded or pursuing a Fellowship of Advance HE (desired).
* Membership of a relevant professional body such as the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (desirable).
* Research‐active or research‐aware with an interest in scholarly activity.

Benefits and Working Conditions
Salary: £45,025 – £48,820 per annum. Full‐time, permanent position.
