Job Description
This position calls for a skilled Carpenter/Leading Hand to lead site teams in delivering high-quality commercial and residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of carpentry trade methods, and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and project managers.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This will involve coordinating site activities, managing work hours, start and finish times, breaks, and attendance, including managing overtime and potential fatigue among site staff.
Additionally, the Carpenter/Leading Hand will be expected to resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the project lifecycle, working closely with the site manager and project manager to find solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders.

* Proven experience in general building methods and materials
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
