Wolters Kluwer's Tax & Accounting division in APAC delivers authoritative political, tax and legal content to professional services firms and corporations across the region. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the development of the next iteration of our content offerings, championing innovation, customer‐centricity and operational excellence to deliver market‐leading expert solutions for legal, accounting and political information professionals.

Key Responsibilities

* Product Innovation
o Work closely with the Associate Director, Content Solutions, to understand Wolters Kluwer's strategic and commercial objectives and the evolving needs of tax, legal and political information markets.
o Define, communicate and lead a compelling and innovative product vision and strategy that aligns with those objectives and delivers on our financial goals.
o Champion the integration of emerging technologies to enhance product value and competitive differentiation, driving product adoption, usage and revenue growth.
o Stay current on AI delivery patterns: LLM integration, retrieval‐augmented generation, MCP, agentic workflows, and use that knowledge to drive innovation that leapsfrog the competition.
* Customer & Market Insight
o Deeply understand customer segments, pain points and workflow through direct engagement, research and data analysis in collaboration with the Go‐to‐Market (GTM) team.
o Run client discovery to understand use cases and business scenarios to inspire innovative product development, ensuring initiatives are grounded in validated customer problems.
o Use qualitative and quantitative insights to validate desirability, viability and feasibility of new product ideas and enhancements before they enter the roadmap.
o Ensure new product ideas and enhancements drive commercial objectives, sequencing and prioritizing client requests based on feasibility and ROI.
o Understand market trends and competitor insights provided by the GTM team and ideate solutions to bring to market to drive revenue goals.
* Product Development & Delivery
o Own the end‐to‐end product lifecycle, from ideation and MVP definition through launch, ongoing optimisation and eventual sunset, working closely with Product Owners.
o Develop and maintain outcome‐based product roadmaps that prioritise initiatives with measurable customer and commercial impact.
o Ensure robust release strategies, including beta programmes, phased rollouts and feedback loops.
o Manage an internal team of product specialists and a remote team of developers.
o Maintain relationships with WK's global technology and development teams and the North American product teams to adapt relevant developments for the APAC market.
o Collaborate cross‐functionally with design, engineering, content, sales and GTM teams to deliver high‐quality releases, launches and customer communications.
o Conduct internal and customer‐facing webinars to demonstrate product features and functionality.
* Commercial & Customer Success
o Support the Commercial Manager (R&L;) in annual, quarterly and monthly outcome‐based planning, preparing business cases to secure internal capital funding for strategic initiatives.
o Manage the capex and opex budget to maximise returns.
o Set, track and report on success metrics (customer adoption, retention, NPS, revenue, etc.) with accountability for closing the loop between delivery, customer outcomes and commercial performance.
o Monitor product performance, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and intervene as needed.
o Partner with Customer Success, Sales and Marketing to ensure go‐to‐market readiness, support effective product launches and drive sustained adoption, engagement and customer advocacy.
o Manage regular upstream reporting requirements incorporating customer insight, adoption learnings and financial performance.
* Team Leadership, Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
o Foster a high‐performing, collaborative product team culture aligned with vision, goals and values.
o Engage stakeholders across the business, including executive sponsors, content leaders, technology and commercial teams to align product development with strategic goals.
o Work collaboratively with commercial leaders in the software portfolio to identify innovation opportunities and integrate content solutions into software products.

About You

* Proven experience in product strategy and management, ideally in B2B SaaS or a professional services technology space. Tax, accounting or legal domain experience is a plus.
* Experience with AI‐driven product development and implementation, fluent in discussing LLMs, APIs, retrieval‐augmented generation and agent architectures.
* Operated in a global, matrixed organization and demonstrated ability to influence teams across time zones and reporting lines.
* Comfortable when the playbook doesn't exist – able to uncover what clients actually need and find a path to deliver it.
* Passion for innovation tempered by strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem‐solving skills, and a commercial approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and multiple stakeholders in a complex business.
* Demonstrated ability to define a clear strategic vision in ambiguous environments, translate that vision into commercially viable, revenue‐generating deliverables that drive sustainable business growth.
