The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior executive leadership position responsible for the financial stewardship, commercial leadership, governance framework, capital management, and strategic financial direction of the Group across its core operating businesses Design and construction and funds management
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the CFO will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Advisory Board, financiers, investors, legal advisors, and external stakeholders to support the disciplined growth, operational maturity, and long-term enterprise value of the Group.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels while maintaining strong commercial oversight, financial governance, risk management, improving return on capital, moving from entrepreneurial growth to Institutional-quality performance and leadership across all business divisions.
Lead the Group's financial management, reporting, and governance functions across all operating entities.
Oversee:
* Financial reporting and statutory compliance
* Treasury and cashflow management
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Taxation management
* Audit coordination
* Internal controls and governance frameworks
* Corporate structuring and compliance
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of:
* Monthly management accounts
* Three-way cashflow reporting
* Consolidated group reporting
* Board and executive reporting packs
* Investor and lender reporting
Maintain robust governance frameworks and financial controls across all Group
Leadership & Culture
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across all business divisions.
Foster a high-performance, accountable, and commercially focused culture.
Improve financial literacy and commercial awareness across operational teams and leaders.
Support recruitment, development, and retention of high-performing finance personnel.
Contribute positively to the professionalism, leadership standards, and culture of the Group.
Key Skills & Experience
Significant senior financial leadership experience within:
* Commercial construction
* Property development and investment
* Funds management or investment structures
* Asset-intensive operational businesses
Strong commercial acumen with strategic and operational capability.
Demonstrated experience managing banking and financier relationships.
Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capability.
Strong understanding of:
* Project accounting
* WIP methodologies
* Experience in corporate structuring, capital management, and business scaling.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
