About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead key project delivery initiatives across the oil and gas, energy, infrastructure and mining sectors. Your primary focus will be to manage a successful and profitable program, while applying a structured project management framework to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll manage client relationships, engineering delivery and innovative technology solutions. You may take direct accountability for one or more projects, while also providing guidance, coaching and direction to project managers and engineers within your program. Your leadership will ensure projects are executed successfully, meeting both business objectives and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure high‐quality project outcomes by managing tasks, timelines and deliverables.
* Oversee the program's performance, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
* Proactively allocate resources and plan team capacity to meet program demands.
* Provide mentorship and foster a collaborative team environment.
* Communicate openly on progress and strategic goals.
* Directly manage projects as needed, applying best practices to achieve milestones.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, generate and convert project opportunities.
* Promote safety, compliance and risk mitigation within the program.
* Continuously share insights and drive innovation to enhance team and program performance.
About You
We are looking for someone that has:
* 10+ years of experience delivering process control and/or electrical engineering projects.
* A bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, with certification in program/project management highly regarded.
* Extensive exposure to the oil and gas, energy, infrastructure and mining industries.
* Proven expertise in applying project management frameworks.
* Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.
* A solid understanding of project accounting principles.
* Exceptional planning, communication and leadership skills.
* Experience working with project management tools to deliver successful outcomes.
* A proactive and collaborative working style, with a focus on continuous improvement.
