About the Role:
Crown Equipment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts and Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team. Located in our Berrimah branch, this pivotal role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our spare parts supply chain, catering to both our internal teams and external customers. You will work closely with the Field Operations Manager to optimize parts inventory and guarantee that our service technicians and clients have access to the parts they need, when they need them.
The ideal candidate is someone with a background in parts management who is enthusiastic about taking on new challenges. The position comes with a fully maintained company vehicle and opportunities for monthly commissions based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts availability and pricing, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Process transfers, invoicing, and all parts-related documentation in a timely manner.
Identify and interpret the correct parts required for service and repairs.
Provide accurate quotations to customers for parts and availability.
Conduct monthly stock takes of capital equipment and parts inventory.
Inspect received freight and ensure all parts are accounted for and in good condition.
Organize incoming parts into their designated locations and communicate with team members regarding urgent arrivals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in parts management or a similar role.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Basic computer literacy, particularly in inventory management systems.
