Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Our organization is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join its IT configuration team. This permanent, hybrid role (approximately 50/50 on-site) involves delivering a heavy program of insurance and legislative change to core superannuation systems.
The successful candidate will analyze business requirements, build clear configuration specifications for system changes, and work across the SDLC. Key responsibilities include:
* Analyzing business requirements and building clear configuration specifications for system changes.
* Working across the software development lifecycle (SDLC): clarifying requirements, supporting development and testing, assisting with cutovers, and performing post-production validation.
* Executing day-to-day analysis using SQL and Excel, including hands-on SQL query capability.
* Configuring and validating legacy registry systems, integrating with web services and APIs.
* Logging and managing work in JIRA or similar tools, thoroughly documenting client communications and status.
* Supporting production escalations and performing root-cause analysis.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and offshore teams to deliver integrated solutions.
The ideal candidate possesses Superannuation domain expertise, including insurance and legislation change experience. A minimum of three years' experience as a tech-facing BA or configuration role working directly with IT and business teams is required.
Desirable skills and qualifications include proven, hands-on SQL query capability, practical experience configuring or administering superannuation registry platforms, and familiarity with legacy system configuration.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with relevant experience and skills to make a meaningful contribution to our organization's success.
