We’re looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our team in the Normanhurst, Turramurra, Pymble and Hornsby area, supporting older people through a mix of personal care, domestic assistance, and social support. Your day may include: Providing personal care including showering, dressing, and hygiene support Assisting with domestic assistance such as light cleaning, laundry, and basic household tasks Providing social support including companionship and community access Supporting clients to attend appointments or activities Building genuine, respectful relationships with clients What You Bring A genuine passion for supporting older people A caring, respectful, and reliable approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in personal care Willingness to support or learn domestic assistance tasks Ability to work independently in the community Essential Requirements Current NSW Driver’s Licence and suitable vehicle Experience providing personal care Current First Aid & CPR National Police Check & Working with Children Check Proof of working rights in Australia Smartphone for rostering Desirable (but not essential) Qualification in Aged Care or Community Services (Cert III or above) Experience across PC, DA and social support roles About Us FOCUS Connect is a registered not-for-profit charity supporting people across children, youth, family and aged care services.
