Centre Cleaner – Early Childhood Education Service | NSW

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Centre Cleaner to join our team at our warm and community-focused not-for-profit early childhood education service located in Woy Woy, NSW.
This is a part-time role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of hygiene in an education setting, and wants to contribute to a safe and healthy environment for young children, families, and educators.
About the Role
As our Centre Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the service, including learning rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, entryways, staff areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Daily cleaning of rooms, floors, windows, bathrooms, kitchen, and high-touch areas
- Safe use and storage of cleaning products and equipment
- Restocking hygiene and cleaning supplies as required
- Supporting a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
- Following centre health and safety procedures and infection control standards
- This role may involve morning or evening shifts (outside of core operating hours) to ensure cleaning does not disrupt children’s programming.
About You
- Previous cleaning experience (in childcare, schools, or healthcare settings highly regarded)
- Understanding of hygiene, safety, and infection control practices
- Reliable, efficient, and able to work independently
- Friendly and respectful approach to working in a team and around children
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
