About This Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in Gladstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to people with disabilities, assisting them to live as independently as possible.
Working Conditions: Permanent, part-time hours with set fortnightly rosters. Located in Gladstone, SIL Home. Flexible availability required with overnight shifts per week.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide support to clients with sensitive matters, complex behaviours, ageing conditions and other related challenges, assisting with aspects of personal care and manual handling to meet each individual's needs.
* Work within our SIL (Supported Independent Living) homes to ensure the highest level of care and support is provided to our clients.
Ideal Applicant: Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends and multiple sleepovers (penalty rates apply). Previous experience working in a SIL environment or supporting people with high-complex disabilities will be highly regarded. The capacity to meet the physical requirements of manual handling tasks. Ability to work independently and confidently in varied environments.

Skills Required:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) desirable
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card) – hold or willing to obtain
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) – hold or willing to obtain
* First Aid and CPR – hold or willing to obtain
* National Criminal History Check – hold or willing to obtain
* Australian open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
