Overview
Cabrini Health's Medical Imaging Department provides a 24‐hour service at our Malvern campus, serving outpatients, inpatients and ED patients. Modalities include General X‐ray, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, Angiography, CT, MRI, Mammography, DEXA, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging.
Responsibilities
* Providing compassionate and competent care to patients before, during and after medical imaging examinations.
* Examining patients radiographically as requested by qualified medical practitioners and following departmental protocols or consultant radiologist direction.
* Performing and assisting with radiographic procedures while adhering to ALARA principles to achieve high diagnostic quality images.
Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography / Radiation / Medical Imaging.
* Recent experience in a similar role with demonstrated CT scanning experience (essential).
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and a patient‐focused caring attitude.
* Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills; ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
