Overview
The Federal Government appointed Country SA PHN to enhance the delivery of focused and appropriate health services to the rural communities of South Australia. The goal of the organisation is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for people particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, improve the coordination of health services, and increase access and quality support for people.
Role
Due to continued growth within the team, a new position is available within the Mental Health and Alcohol & Other Drugs Strategic Program. The Quality and Improvement Manager drives best practice program planning and commissioning approaches to improve access, innovation and outcomes for primary mental health and suicide prevention programs. The role contributes to the design, implementation and evaluation of strategic systemwide strategies for commissioning a continuum of primary mental health and suicide prevention services. The role leads data analysis to inform strategic planning and ensure services are outcome-based, evidence-based and consumer-focused, responsive to system change, and guided by market analysis. The role applies change management and stakeholder engagement to work across Country SA PHN portfolios, the primary mental health care system and beyond.
