About the Role
We are currently on the lookout for a Blast & Paint Supervisor to join our Defence team based out in Osborne, SA. The key focus of the Blast & Paint Supervisor is to directly lead and develop a team of field‐based staff; ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with our quality standards, delivering on the contractual requirements of our clients.
What You Will Be Doing
* Lead and manage workers to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
* Submit and maintain all completed site records.
* Ensure sub‐contractors/suppliers conform to project requirements.
* Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with plans and procedures.
* Participate in task planning and risk analysis, conduct regular audits, and maintain quality standards.
* Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.

To Be Considered for This Role You Need
* Experience supervising teams (Essential)
* NACE 2 certified (Highly desirable)
* Experience managing complex paint & blast /remediation/ waterproofing projects (Highly desirable).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* Experience in asset remediation with blasting & painting, and concrete rehabilitation works (Highly desirable)
* Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes
* Familiar with Quality systems – progressing, ITPs, QA/QC liaison
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
