Compassionate care is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented support staff to assist with day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of services. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of quality care to clients by providing administrative assistance.
This casual administration/reception role comes with full-time hours initially, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time after the probation period. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* General Administration: Provide administrative support, including scheduling, data entry, filing, ordering supplies, and correspondence.
* Client Support: Assist with client intake and updates to client records. Maintain accurate and confidential files.
* Billing & Documentation: Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately. Assist with reporting and compliance documentation.
* Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, families, and other stakeholders. Address inquiries and coordinate communication.
* Support Services: Coordinate staff rosters, meetings, and training schedules. Assist with report preparation and document completion.
* Scheduling and Recording Participant Appointments: Help book appointments and add participant activities to the scheduling software, calendars, and logs.
* Organizing Activities: Plan and advertise office activities and maintain an up-to-date community events board.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in healthcare, disability support, or social services.
* Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple duties, and maintain attention to detail.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective interaction with diverse backgrounds.
* Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with client management systems or similar software.
* Confidentiality & Sensitivity: Understanding of confidentiality importance and handling sensitive information discreetly.
* Positive Attitude: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a friendly, professional approach.
* NDIS Knowledge: Familiarity with NDIS processes, plan management, and compliance preferred.
* Screening Requirements: Valid Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
