We have two traineeship roles on offer. You can work either:

* Full time (12‐month traineeship)
* Part time (18‐month traineeship)

About the traineeship

As a trainee, you will learn and develop administrative skills whilst undertaking a Certificate III in Government.

Tasks may include

* Preparing simple documents
* Providing customer service
* Entering data and maintaining digital records
* Organising meetings
* Helping your team with other tasks as needed

Where you might work

* TAFE International WA (TIWA) – responsible for the recruitment and administration of international students studying at WA TAFE colleges and Government schools
* Training Accreditation Council (TAC) – checks and approves training courses across Western Australia

You will be based at our Prospect Place office in West Perth, which offers convenient access to nearby bus services and Leederville train station, as well as a variety of food options nearby.

* Tell us about a time you had a deadline to meet. What did you do to ensure you finished on time?

* Tell us about your experience using computers or other technology. What types of tools or programs have you used (e.g. Microsoft Office, email, databases)?

You can use examples from work, school, sport or volunteering but make sure you provide enough detail, and don't forget to attach the cover letter to your application.
