Join SA Health as the Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia (DASSA) Regional Manager, Central Outpatient Services and make a meaningful difference in our community's health and wellbeing. This full-time temporary contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead and coordinate comprehensive alcohol and other drug (AOD) services across Adelaide's eastern region until 30 June 2026, with potential for conversion to ongoing employment. About the role: Reporting to the Director Outpatient Services, you will oversee service delivery, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive strategic initiatives that directly impact patient outcomes. As an RN4/AHP4 level position, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring services meet community needs and clinical standards. Duties for the role will include: Primarily leading service delivery teams across the DASSA central outpatient services at Stepney as well as a number of regional sites. Undertaking a combination of community-based service delivery, team leadership and resource management. This position takes responsibility for a DASSA wide service delivery portfolio as required as well as being allocated strategic projects in line with Divisional priorities. About you: Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or > Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and general registration with the PsyBA. Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation within a multidisciplinary team or groups. Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. This is a single vacancy, with two possible appointment classifications. The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience.
