P-8 Aircraft Maintenance Role
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at RAAF Base Edinburgh, Adelaide. As an AME, you will be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
You will work collaboratively with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion, ensuring compliance within DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations. Effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams is crucial for success in this role.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
* Collaborate with the MRO team to achieve efficient task completion
* Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 MOE regulations
* Foster effective communication and coordination with stakeholders
* Emphasize Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and meticulous documentation practices
* Evaluate Environmental Health & Safety risks and prioritize personnel well-being
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures)
* Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements
* A current driver's license
* Prior experience working with Military aircraft (desirable)
* A CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence (desirable)
