Anglicare Southern Queensland's Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to enable our older population to live their best lives in their own homes.
The overall purpose of the Registered Nurse is to provide comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, case management of clients and apply clinical knowledge to implement planned care.
We are currently seeking 1 x Registered Nurse for a full-time position. This role will service the Logan area. The role will be predominantly Monday to Friday with rotating weekends (approximately once per month).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments and case management for clients.
- Apply clinical knowledge to implement planned care.
- Coordinate and deliver quality nursing care within a risk management framework and in accordance with professional standards and conduct (e.g., infection control, codes and competency, standards and legislation) affecting nursing practice.
- Work independently with effective time management and problem solving skills.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and open communication within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Mandatory requirements
- Current National Police Certificate
- Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications and experience to Registered Nurse level
- Current AHPRA registration and evidence of recent practice
