Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team within the Directorate of Financial Compliance Assurance. The successful candidate will be accountable for conducting thorough analysis of financial data, identifying non-compliance with financial policy and legislation, and providing timely sound practical advice on complex financial compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct analysis of financial data to identify potential areas of non-compliance
* Report findings to management and make recommendations to mitigate risks and strengthen controls
* Provide evidence-based briefs, reports and visualisations to inform Defence decision making
* Liaise with stakeholders to deliver on the compliance assurance program
Requirements
* Proven experience as a financial analyst
* Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports
* High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
