Job Description
Oaks Gold Coast Hotel and Oaks Gold Coast Calypso Plaza Suites are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Café Attendants to join our team on a casual basis.
Both properties are launching a new café experience for hotel guests to enjoy barista coffee and grab-and-go treats. This role is ideal for someone with café experience who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and serving high-quality food and beverages. You'll work alongside a barista to serve toasties, croissants, and hot and cold drinks to guests.
Responsibilities
As a valued team member, you'll play a key role in creating enjoyable guest experiences by:
* Preparing and serving food and beverages: toasties, croissants, and drinks efficiently and professionally.
* Assisting with cafe operations: working alongside the barista to maintain a smooth and clean workflow.
* Delivering exceptional customer service: engaging warmly with guests and responding to their needs.
Shift Details
* Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
* 5:00 am to 2:00 pm and 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, subject to change
* Dual role as a barista and café attendant
* Multiple casual positions available
* Occasionally, you may be required to support both properties
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a café environment, including barista skills, is highly desirable
* A friendly and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Professional presentation and strong communication skills
* Reliability and flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends
