Your new role
This role offers the opportunity to join a skilled and supportive team as a Labourer, where you will be trained across all aspects of sports surface construction and repair. Working closely with experienced tradespeople, you will assist in preparing, installing, and maintaining hard courts, synthetic surfaces, and general concrete works, while also contributing to broader projects such as landscaping, paving, and retaining walls. With much of the work carried out in regional areas, you will travel as part of the crew and receive living away from home allowances, ensuring your efforts are properly recognised. Your contribution is critical to delivering durable, high-quality surfaces that enhance community facilities and client satisfaction, supporting the company's reputation for reliability and precision. What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in construction or related trade environments
* Skills in concrete, soft fall rubber, retaining walls, fencing, landscaping or decking highly advantageous
* Ability to work away from home on regional projects ranging from a few days up to two weeks
* Physically fit with the stamina to perform hands-on labouring tasks in varying outdoor conditions
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior tradespeople
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to contribute to a collaborative crew culture
* Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to OH&S standards
* Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
* Ability to pass police clearance, drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement
* Reliable transport and driver's licence to travel to worksites as required
