Group Finance Director - Corporate Functions
This is a senior finance leadership role sitting close to the Group CFO, with responsibility for how financial performance is managed across corporate functions (HR, IT, Legal, etc.). The position combines two key areas: Business partnering
to senior functional leaders Improving how finance operates at a group level You’ll be expected to bring structure, challenge, and clarity - not just reporting. What you’ll focus on
Lead planning cycles (budget, forecast, long-range planning) across group functions Partner with senior stakeholders on cost, investment, and performance Provide clear financial insight to support decision-making Identify and drive cost efficiency opportunities Improve consistency and quality of financial reporting Drive improvements in finance processes (planning, reporting, P2P, etc.) Support wider transformation and systems initiatives Build a more scalable, efficient finance operating model What they’re looking for
Senior finance experience in group, FP&A, or commercial finance roles Strong stakeholder engagement - able to influence at exec level Experience working across complex or multi-entity environments Exposure to process improvement, transformation, or systems change A balance of hands‑on delivery and strategic thinking Why it’s worth considering
