Mundaring Christian College is a thriving non-denominational, co-educational K–12 school, situated in the picturesque Perth Hills across two campuses with a Primary Campus in Mundaring and a Secondary Campus in Parkerville. Proudly operated by Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA), we are a provider of quality Christian education, dedicated to nurturing the academic and spiritual growth of our students.
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Head of Secondary to join our team in a full-time position commencing from the 20th July or as negotiated. The successful candidate will lead the strategic and operational direction of the Secondary School as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. You will work closely with the Principal to foster a cohesive, high-performing environment that promotes excellence in teaching, student wellbeing, and academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Drive strategic direction, innovation, and continuous improvement in alignment with College priorities.
* Lead staff through mentoring and development, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
* Oversee teaching and learning to ensure consistent, high-quality, evidence-informed classroom practice.
* Lead staff performance, professional growth, recruitment, and wellbeing initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, risk management, and safeguarding requirements.
* Oversee co-curricular programs, events, and student engagement beyond the classroom.
* Use data to inform decision-making, school improvement, and strategic initiatives.
* Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community, supporting engagement and College reputation.
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrate a committed Christian faith by actively supporting the College's Christian life and aligning with the Association's Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with professional presentation and the ability to follow direction and show initiative.
* Highly organised multitasker with sound financial process knowledge, and strong Microsoft 365 skills.
* Proven leadership capacity with the ability to mentor and develop staff, building a high-performing, collaborative culture.
* Strategic and decisive thinker with integrity, able to translate vision into action and make sound decisions in complex situations.
* Highly organised, able to manage priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of WA education requirements (SCSA, WACE, compliance).
