Primary objective
In line with Tourism NT's destination marketing strategy and through global content, maximise awareness, consideration and
visitation to the Northern Territory (NT) by coordinating the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) platform,
updating, renewing and sourcing new listings through active engagement with NT tourism stakeholders to create a seamless
visitor experience and to enhance every stage of the visitor journey.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Coordinate the ATDW marketing web content including the collection and QA of data for new and existing NT tourism
products, experiences, and destinations.
1. Proactively audit and recommend improvements to digital content on to increase operator
engagement and visitation to the NT.
1. Source, write, edit, produce, and publish website content that tactically supports Tourism NT's annual marketing strategy.
2. Provide support for the planning, coordination, and deployment of Tourism NT's social media family strategy.
3. Provide administrative and project support to the Global Content Manager.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation, writing for the web, digital copywriting and accessibility.
1. Demonstrated experience in content and project management systems and application of technical knowledge and skills.
2. Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
3. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a wide range of people of diverse cultures, backgrounds and skill
sets.
1. Demonstrated organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
2. Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
Desirable
1. Knowledge of the Northern Territory tourism industry and its destinations.
1. Demonstrated experience with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) system.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of exporting, formatting, mapping and analysis of data and content in a variety of formats.
