About the position:
The Infrastructure Coordinator Mullewa District provides leadership and management of the Mullewa Roads and Mullewa Town teams, and actively contributes to the planning, design and programming of works as part of the City's Maintenance Operations branch. Additionally, the position manages maintenance activities including asset construction, renewal and maintenance in accordance with the approved annual budget.
Key accountabilities:
* Ensure efficient delivery and completion of the annual gravel road renewal and road maintenance grading program in the Mullewa district.
* Ensure efficient delivery and completion of the annual parks and town centre maintenance and renewal programme in the Mullewa district.
* Provide excellent technical advice for the design, planning and implementation of programs to maintain, replace or construct Mullewa District parks, open spaces, and roads and drainage.
* Ensure Operation and maintenance of the Mullewa wastewater STED System and water reticulation infrastructure.
* Provide leadership to Mullewa Depot teams and oversee day-to-day operations across roads, drainage, parks, wastewater and irrigation water, in accordance with all City policies and procedures.
Position requirements:
The successful applicant will bring extensive experience in the maintenance, renewal, and construction of unsealed road networks, parks and drainage systems, supported by a relevant qualification or equivalent industry experience. In addition, demonstrate capability to lead and manage diverse teams, with the ability to foster a positive team culture and build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, strong organisational and planning skills, along with an understanding of asset management principles and safe work practices, will be critical to effectively delivering infrastructure programs in line with operational and strategic objectives.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
A salary ranging from $117,477 per annum to $135,470 per annum will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
