About the role
* Support financial operations by processing accruals, journals, file transfers, and maintaining data integrity within the Finance and Materials Management System.
* Assist with Annual Financial Statements, compliance activities, and adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and accounting guidelines.
* Collaborate with finance teams, Corporate Office, and Health Service stakeholders to deliver consistent and effective financial services.
* Provide strong customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
* Manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures, manuals and business practices.
About you
* Brings strong knowledge of computerised financial management systems, databases, and spreadsheet applications to support efficient financial operations.
* Demonstrates a solid understanding of financial legislation, policies, procedures and government accounting standards.
* Has the ability to effectively prioritise workloads, manage tasks and maintain a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
* Contributes positively as a collaborative team member focused on achieving unit goals and delivering strong outcomes.
* Builds and maintains professional relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What we offer
* Total remuneration value of up to $117,603 p.a. comprised of:
* Hourly rate between $47.19–$51.98 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
* 17.5% leave loading
