Job Description:
The Fitness and Lifestyle Specialist will provide exceptional customer service to ensure a high level of satisfaction among members. The role involves supervising the fitness floor, undertaking fitness testing and exercise prescription, and personal training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide great Customer Service
* Membership administration and Membership sales - explaining the benefits of membership and converting to sales
* Hands on approach
* Exercise Prescription
* Personal training, Planning, development and implementation of fitness promotion programs
* Ensuring equipment is clean, safe and well maintained throughout the facility
* Supervision of the fitness facility floor
* Providing instruction to members of the correct technique and use of equipment
* Ability to design and instruct group exercise classes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Certificate III & IV in Fitness, current Provide First Aid and CPR Certifications, excellent communications skills; both written and verbal as well as exceptional attention to detail, intermediate computer literacy, ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, experience in a similar role within the Fitness Industry, and ability to work a flexible roster.
