Kulparri Tyres & Mechanical is a proudly Aboriginal-owned and operated business supporting the transport, mining and heavy industry sectors across Newman, Port Hedland and the wider Pilbara region. We're looking for an organised and proactive Maintenance Administrator to join our Newman team and play a key role in supporting our workshop operations and field teams.
This position is ideal for a Newman local who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple tasks, and enjoys keeping systems, schedules and people organised.
Working closely with our Workshop Manager and operational team, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Newman workshop and ensuring the administrative side of the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and book travel and accommodation for staff as required
* Manage and track site inductions and compliance requirements
* Ensure employee and contractor documentation remains current
* Assist with scheduling and coordination of workshop and maintenance activities
* Liaise with workshop staff, field personnel and clients
* Maintain records, databases and internal systems
* Support fleet and maintenance administration processes
* General office administration and operational support duties
About You
* Previous administration experience in mining, transport, maintenance or a similar industry highly regarded
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy environment
* High attention to detail and strong communication skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems
* Experience with travel coordination and site compliance advantageous
* Experience using MechanicsDesk or other maintenance management systems highly regarded
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must be based in Newman or willing to relocate to the area
