Position Title: Pharmacy Assistant or Technician Grade 1/2 - PFT - Malabar
The Role
The Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network Pharmacy provides services across NSW. The pharmacy is a friendly team of enthusiastic individuals who provide a wide range of pharmaceutical services to the Network, including adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings.
This position works as part of the dispensary team to provide safe, efficient and effective dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals across the Network, and to assist with ordering, stock control and any clerical duties as required.
Responsibilities
* Dispense and distribute pharmaceuticals safely and efficiently.
* Assist with inventory management, ordering and stock control.
* Perform clerical duties as required.
* Support the team in providing pharmaceutical services across different settings.
Requirements & Qualifications
* All experienced pharmacy assistants or technicians are eligible to apply.
* Eligible for highest classification level as determined by the Health Employees' (State) Award.
* To be eligible for Grade 2 Assistant or higher, demonstrate completion of Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent), Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or equivalent) or Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or equivalent).
