Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner
Cobar, NSW – 9 Day Fortnightly roster with accommodation and meal allowance. Temp‐to‐permanent pathway.
Role
Support fixed plant operations at a mine site near Cobar, NSW. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage detailed maintenance plans and schedules for fixed plant equipment
* Coordinate preventative, corrective, and statutory maintenance activities
* Generate, review, and close out work orders within the CMMS
* Plan labour, tools, parts, and contractor resources to minimise downtime
* Support shutdown planning including scope development, scheduling, and contractor coordination
* Analyse downtime trends and maintenance KPIs to improve reliability
* Ensure all work aligns with site safety systems and WHS requirements
Qualifications
* Trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) or relevant Engineering qualification
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in fixed plant maintenance planning within mining or heavy industry
* Strong understanding of crushing, conveying, milling, flotation, pumps, and associated systems
* Proven experience using Pronto (essential)
* Solid knowledge of maintenance work management processes
* High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
