Program Overview
Yara Pilbara invites motivated Electrical Engineering students to join our 12‐week Vacation Student Program in Karratha, WA. The program is designed to provide meaningful, practical experience and professional development within a dynamic and diverse workplace.
About the Program
* Program duration: December 2026 – February 2027 (aligned with university break)
* Work closely with a dedicated mentor (Yara Engineer) and an assigned buddy (Graduate or Employee)
* Contribute to two engineering projects, gaining hands‐on experience
* Develop and deliver a project presentation to the Yara Pilbara Leadership Team
* Receive structured progress reviews and feedback throughout the program
* Build technical expertise and professional skills in a supportive environment
Qualifications
* Penultimate or final year of a Master's or Honours degree in Professional Engineering, specializing in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
* Studying at a Western Australian university
* Permanent working rights in Australia
* Willingness to relocate to Karratha for 12 weeks
* Strong teamwork, communication skills, and commitment to quality
