About the role
The School welcomes applications for the role of Grounds / Maintenance Support Officer.
This position involves a variety of tasks, including:
Working as part of a team to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment throughout the School campus
Setting up classrooms and event spaces for School functions and events (such as assemblies and exams)
Delivering sporting equipment to the sports fields
Performing general maintenance of the grounds and building during term-breaks, including water pressure cleaning of buildings and pathways.
About you
We are seeking an individual who possesses a positive attitude, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a current Car (Class C) QLD Driver's Licence
Be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour, with a strong understanding of safe work practices
Hold a current Working with Children Check (also known as Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one before commencing work.
