As a Carer Support Specialist, you will be the key to unlocking a better life for carers in our community.
This role is based in the Gladstone region, providing consistent presence and reliable support to carers. You will work collaboratively with a team to build strong relationships with community organisations, health services, schools, aged care facilities, and local government agencies.
* Building connections between Carers and vital community resources, fostering meaningful relationships that support wellbeing and independence.
* Supporting Carers to thrive, focusing on holistic well-being, going beyond basic needs to help carers achieve their full potential.
* Oversight of the Gladstone Carer Hub, facilitating social interaction and promoting wellbeing, connection, and a sense of belonging.
