**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a **Commercial Analyst** to join our team. Your analytical skills will contribute directly to shaping the success of CSBP's Fertiliser business.
As the Commercial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the profitability and competitiveness of the Fertiliser business. Your key role will be to identify, evaluate and conduct analysis of operations and commercial opportunities. This involves a strategic focus on optimising business performance and ensuring a strong position in the market.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Analyst, you will also provide reporting and analytical support to assist CSBP Fertilisers with meeting its financial and strategic objectives using sound commercial decision making.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Coordinates and evaluates projects/opportunities
- Develops and uses models to facilitate financial planning and decision evaluation
- Provides commercial and analytical support to CSBP Fertiliser business, conducting research and analysis to assist in financial and commercial decisions
- Provides support to external negotiations for supply and contract arrangements
- Seeks out opportunities to improve and streamline analysis activities
- Live values and champion the values-based behaviour in CSBP Fertilisers
**About You**
To excel in the Commercial Analyst role with CSBP, you must possess the following key attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business (e.g. Finance, Accounting), Engineering or Science
- Substantial broad based experience within a consulting, business analysis, project management or financial modelling environment with an emphasis on commercial project evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and research skills.
- Strong financial skills, including financial modelling.
- Well-developed commercial judgement.
