This position involves providing comprehensive primary health care services in a rural clinical setting within a large, well-equipped medical practice. The role includes delivering care across all age groups, including paediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly patients. Responsibilities encompass a wide scope of clinical services such as immunisations, general medical consultations, and preventive health care. The practitioner will also participate in shared antenatal and postnatal care, provide travel and tourist health advice, conduct employment and occupational medical assessments, and manage mental health conditions and minor injuries. Additional responsibilities include the management of chronic pain, chronic disease care, preventive health screenings, and extended primary care services. The role also involves supporting Indigenous health initiatives and contributing to the ongoing health management of patients with complex or long-term conditions.
