Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Fundraising Officer to join our team in a new and exciting role. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities and securing funds to deliver net carbon zero projects across the region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of stakeholder engagement and experience of coordinating and developing large-scale funding proposals. They will also possess a passion for the environment and reducing carbon emissions.
The position is based at home, with regular travel across the region required. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships with potential funders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure funding opportunities to deliver net carbon zero projects
* Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Coordinate and develop large-scale funding proposals
* Work closely with the national NZC Team to shape an approach to NZC fundraising
Requirements:
* Proven track record of stakeholder engagement and experience of coordinating and developing large-scale funding proposals
* Passion for the environment and reducing carbon emissions
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
* Ability to adapt approach as appropriate
* Highly organized, flexible and sympathetic to the ethos of the Church of England
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Working Arrangements:
The role will be employed by the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, with line management meetings taking place in Ipswich. Regular travel across the region will be required.
