Junior Web Developer Role
This is a full-time opportunity to join our digital team and work closely with the Senior Developer and broader team to support in the design and development of modern, UX-driven websites using WordPress and Shopify platforms.
* Support front-end website development (HTML, CSS, JS) with a focus on clean code and great user experience.
* Build, customize, and maintain websites across platforms including WordPress and Shopify, ensuring responsive design, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
* Troubleshoot and maintain brand websites.
* Support Brand Managers with site maintenance and IT issues.
* Assist the Senior Developer with eCommerce related tasks.
* Monitor and optimize website operations to ensure seamless business and customer experiences.
We are looking for a motivated and quick-thinking Junior Web Developer with great problem-solving skills to join our team. Key Requirements
* Some experience in Web Development – a portfolio of recent personal or commercial work will be highly regarded.
* Familiarity with CMS's such as WordPress and Shopify.
* Strong interest in UX and UI design.
* A team player with good communication skills.
* A capable problem solver who uses initiative.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field preferred.
* Familiar with version control, project deployment, hosting environments and DNS configurations.
* PHP or Liquid knowledge.
* Experience with API integration.
* Experience with website optimization for speed, SEO, and UX.
