Drive all aspects of the customer account from the ground up, taking the lead on all operational related activities to ensure WestRock exceeds achievement against KPIs leading to sustainable and profitable growth.
Accountabilities
* Improve Customer Service experience through facilitating value-added engineering services.
* Coordinate Operational Performance Excellence (OPE) re safety, maintenance, environmental machine efficiency.
* Provide coaching and support to customer personnel.
* Develop and execute short- and long-term plans for customer accounts / OPE.
* Monitor accuracy of reporting and database information.
* Contribute to strategy development and provide advice to the business on engineering / maintenance issues.
* Identify and address engineering training and coaching needs within customer operations.
* Handle customer problems through to resolution.
* Review monthly (weekly if required) efficiency numbers and top three downtimes with resulting action plans / RCAs for these downtimes.
Experience
* Engineering degree and / or electrical / mechanical trade qualification / Mechatronics.
* Sound mechanical aptitude.
* Strong project management experience.
* Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
