Hays are recruiting a contract administrator for a growing construction company based in Perth, just 10 minutes from the city centre. This commercial builder is known for delivering high-quality projects across the education, residential, high rise, aged care, and fit-out sectors.
With a strong pipeline of work and recent tender wins, they are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic and collaborative environment.
Your new role
As a Contracts Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects such as schools, apartments, hospices, retirement villages, and commercial fit-outs. You'll work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure contracts are administered efficiently and in line with project goals.
This role will require someone who has at least 4 years commercial construction contracts experience or quantity surveying. Western Australia experience is disirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts from procurement to close-out
- Prepare and review progress claims, variations, and payment schedules
- Assist with tender reviews, contract negotiations, and compliance
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in contract administration within commercial construction, preferably apartment contracts administration
* Strong understanding of contract terms, variations, and financial tracking
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work across multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in construction software and document control systems
