The Opportunity
As the Melbourne Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for building, developing, and leading a high-performing sales team while driving revenue growth across residential home electrification solutions.
You'll work closely with senior leadership to recruit, coach, and develop your team while also leading from the front and setting the standard for performance.

What You'll Be Doing
* Recruit, build, and develop a brand-new door to door sales team from the ground up
* Lead, coach, and motivate your team to consistently exceed targets
* Drive sales growth across solar, battery storage, and home electrification products
* Conduct in-home appointments and convert opportunities into sales
* Develop and execute local growth strategies
* Monitor team performance and optimise sales processes
* Create a positive, high-performance culture focused on development and accountability
* Work closely with Recruitment, HR, and Senior Leadership to support team growth and retention
* Identify new market opportunities and strengthen customer relationships throughout the Melbourne region
What Your First Month Will Look Like
You'll be immersed in our proven sales process and receive hands-on training from our relationship management leadership team.
This is a hybrid leadership role, meaning you'll spend time:
* Learning Smart Energy's sales methodology
* Running face-to-face home electrification appointments with homeowners
* Building your own sales pipeline
* Interviewing, onboarding, and training new sales team members
* Developing the foundations of your future team
By leading from the front, you'll gain the credibility and experience needed to coach your team to success.
