Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to lead complex projects, mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing across disciplines. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Manage full project lifecycles, including planning, budgeting, client relations, and technical execution.
* Technical Fieldwork: Conduct site characterizations, groundwater/surface water studies, leachate and gas assessments, and compliance evaluations.
* Reporting & Permitting: Develop detailed environmental reports, permit applications, and technical documentation.
* Proposal Development: Lead and support proposals for high-value projects.
* Team Development: Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing across disciplines.
* Client Engagement: Build lasting relationships with clients and represent the company at industry events and professional organizations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
* Professional Geologist (PG) license in North Carolina.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; and ability to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to learn additional software applications.
