Central Queensland Health is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to guide Obstetrics and Gynaecology services across the Gladstone region. As part of our connected O&G network, you'll provide strategic direction, clinical governance, and hands‑on expertise to ensure outstanding outcomes for women and families.
Working closely with colleagues across Rockhampton, Emerald, and rural facilities, you'll lead service planning, performance, and quality initiatives that strengthen care and sustainability. You'll foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and safety – mentoring clinicians and advancing education, research, and innovation.

About the role
* Provide clinical and strategic leadership for Obstetrics and Gynaecology services at Gladstone Hospital.
* Oversee high‑quality, evidence‑based care in line with Central Queensland Health and statewide clinical frameworks.
* Lead service planning, workforce management, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Maintain up to 0.5 FTE of clinical practice across obstetrics and gynaecology.
* Promote and participate in education, training, and clinical supervision.
* Contribute to research, innovation, and ongoing service development.
* Work collaboratively across the Central Queensland Health O&G network to ensure integrated, sustainable care.
About you
* You hold Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and registration as a Specialist with AHPRA.
* You're an experienced clinician with a record of excellence in obstetric and gynaecological care.
* You bring strong leadership, management, and strategic planning capability.
* You demonstrate commitment to quality improvement, safety, and evidence‑based practice.
* You're an engaging communicator who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $576,777 p.a. is comprised of:
* A salary between $216,643 – $266,677 p.a. (L18 – L24; L25 – L27)
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
* 17.5% leave loading
