The Role:
As a Technical Accountant, you'll be a key part of the finance team, ensuring compliance with IFRS and ASX reporting requirements. This role will suit someone who wants to apply their technical expertise in a commercial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the month-end close process across the group
* Manage group compliance obligations across global entities: BAS, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, debt covenants, and statutory lodgements
* Lead the year-end audit process end-to-end, including planning, deliverables, and managing external auditor relationships
* Work closely with senior finance leaders on process improvements and reporting efficiencies
* Own acquisition-related responsibilities: transaction compliance, purchase accounting, intangible asset recognition, and opening balance sheet review
