Outboard Parts Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Co‐Ordinator / Salesperson to join our growing team in Nerang on the Gold Coast. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. This full‐time role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop and providing excellent customer service throughout the sales and service procedures. This exciting role involves a nice variety of tasks and responsibilities keeping you engaged and motivated.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinating the various sales of parts and outboards in person, over the phone and via email to customers nationwide
* Arranging and prioritising the workshop activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of servicing and outboard fit ups
* Ensuring good communication with customers to provide updates, advice and support throughout the sales and servicing process
* Preparing, reviewing, and issuing accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner
* Potential water testing tasks for the confident and suitable applicant
* Ensuring your work areas are kept organised and tidy
What we're looking for
* Experience in a similar workshop coordinator or service advisor role, preferably within the marine or automotive industries but not essential
* Qualified Outboard Mechanic or someone with general technical knowledge of outboard motors, engines, and related marine equipment
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
* A passion for the marine industry and a commitment to providing high‐quality service
* Basic to moderate level of computer skills
* Opportunity for a mechanical position or workshop leading hand should the above role not be suitable
