Occupational Therapist Role
About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Port Macquarie and surrounding areas. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to help clients regain independence and continue living at home.
This is a permanent daytime schedule role with no weekend or shift work required. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of older Australians and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised plans to meet client needs
* Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote client independence and well-being
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
* Proven ability to assess occupational therapy needs and design tailored programs for aged care clients
* Postgraduate experience working across diverse aged care services, including community-based settings
* Thorough knowledge of health and wellbeing frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in computer literacy, with a willingness to utilise required software to facilitate remote work
